He Texted is the site you go to when your friends are tired of hearing about your relationship issues. You get instant advice from dozens of strangers, most of whom have been in your exact situation. It's a friendly, inclusive and honest community.
Lisa, please tell us about how He Texted all began with your friends. I had lived all over the world and no matter who I was with or where I was living, everyone had the exact same relationship questions. You could be this super accomplished person with a fantastic job and great friends, and you were still stressing about this little text message. It's just a universal inclination. I knew we needed a broader outlet to help men and women, so I looked to create it.
Why are text messages from men the basis of lots of confusion for women?
You can't read tone, so it's automatically harder to decipher. Also, for the record, we think men have an equally hard time figuring out text messages from women!
Carrie, why do guys hate red lipstick on a first date?
Every guy I've ever met (or talked to for my old job as a beauty editor) said they like natural lips on a first date. Just to see the person as they are. But honestly, I say you go for it if that's your thing. The last thing a girl needs is a guy telling her what kind of lipstick to wear!
Why shouldn’t you respond to a 3am text?
We think this one is pretty obvious-- there's usually only one thing a guy wants at 3am.
