What can readers expect from your new book Dark Amour?
There's war brewing and only one group of Slayers to protect their race. Their second-in-command must choose between the life he'd be forced to live and the life he'd kill for.

Readers will be pulled deeper into the war that has spilled onto the streets of Van City. The duty flowed through his veins, as it did for his parents, and their parents. Some traditions weren't easily dismissed, not for him, and not in his family. What is your writing process and what are your ideal writing conditions?
Some days writing comes easy, the ideas flow faster than my fingers can type. Other days, banging my head on the keyboard shows more promise. My 'muse' is a little uppity at times. She's like that friend who says they'll call you back, and you wait for days until you finally kick their door down to see if they're still alive. She comes and goes. When she's out of steam, I close up shop and go find new inspiration (usually with a book in hand.)
Do you ever get writer's block? Any tips on how to get through the dreaded writer's block?
All. The. Time. To me, it means I've been hammering away at it for too long, and my creative juices have run dry. It's my brain's way of saying "Remember your friends? I don't." I take a break and get back to it, refreshed.
Sitting above my desk is a quote from Stephen King: "Stopping a piece of work just because it's hard, either emotionally or imaginatively, is a bad idea. Sometimes you have to go on when you don't feel like it, and sometimes you're doing good work when it feels like all you're managing is to shovel shit from a sitting position."
What is next for you?
Wicked Amour, book three in The Genesys Project, is available for pre-order on August 2nd, 2016. This book gives us a look into the life of Riam. The character of Riam begged to be told, along with all of his secrets. The complexity of who he is, where he's from, and how his people opened the door for pure evil, made this book an exciting and important piece in this series.
Book four is in the works, bringing in a couple new secrets and loves to the series. And, as always, I'm working on a few new ideas, seeing what grabs my attention.
