When women rule the world, everything will be better. We’ll end wealth inequality, the rubbish care system, the billions spent on weapons used to obliterate one another, and girls being branded ‘slags’ if they’ve slept with more than one boy before they’re 18. Blokes say it’s just banter - not to the girls it isn’t: it hurts.

Using robots to replace women’s work is a mistake for a start. How will we continue to contribute to the economy? How will we fill our new-found free time? We’ll use it to come together and devise a plan for overthrowing male governance. I think men will be shocked at how creative we’ve been when they find out. Will we overthrow them with force? I haven’t figured that out yet. And if we do need to use force, how does that make women any better than men? It’s not about being better – at take-over stage, anyway - it’s about change.

Once we have taken leadership, there will be rewards for making a positive contribution towards healing the planet and its population: environmental advocates will be revered: the elderly will be respected and have first class care, and mind-gyms will be as common as tanning salons – with mindercizing becoming a daily ritual, championing mental strength over physical strength. No stigma will be attached to seeing a therapist, as we’ll all do it.

Surveillance robots will keep people safe – though nobody will want to commit crimes, because if they ever get the urge, they’ll be able to dash into a CAT (Come And Talk) centre, which will be open 24/7 in all communities. There’ll be a padded room with a punch-bag in it, so if someone is feeling violent, they can go in there and punch the hell out of the bag and the walls. They’ll feel so much better afterwards.

Everything will be safe. And everything will be beautiful. We will be able to walk the streets at night, along pathways lined with ankle-level solar lamps. It will look so pretty that we’ll always feel romantic. The twinkling lights will inspire us to say caring, loving words to one another. We’ll stop and sit in the middle of a shimmering circle-junction, assume the lotus position and look up to the stars.

Some may think that women ruling the world isn’t going to change what men say or do - that it’ll probably make things worse. But I believe that with time, men will also enjoy living in a peaceful world, and they’ll get over the fact that they’re no longer the ones in charge. ‘Dream on’, you may say.

Spaghetti Head, Sarah Tyley’s debut novel is set in a peaceful future, governed by women. It does feature ankle-level solar lamps. It’s available from Amazon for £2.49 on Kindle https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07BJK4SB6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_ep_dp_po8RAb58MVW38
