Creative Writing Submissions

We are now looking for submissions for the website! Short stories and poems on any theme will be considered for publication from both male and female writers. NO NOVELS PLEASE.

Work must be your own, written in English and must NOT be previously published. Any submissions must include your name and a short description about yourself. This may include your job, where you live and where your interest in writing began. It must also include a picture of yourself or a photograph or drawing of your choice.

Layout must be in Times New Roman and be double spaced. There is no word count limit. Only send via email, not via post.

Rights

As the work will be on the website we ask for First British Rights as well as exclusive rights. We ask that if you do publish your work in the UK again that you credit Female First as your original publisher.

Payment

We are unable to provide payment, however your work will be published on a leading female online magazine. Your work will be recognised on creative writing CVs if you are looking to take your writing to a professional level.
