When Kanye West gets an invite to any awards show not only do we fear for the organisers who face the complexity of pulling together a conflict-free seating plan - keeping him and wife Kim Kardashian West more than arms length away from their latest 'frenemy' - but we also are scared for the winners.

Kanye West

Kanye, 39, has a history of stealing people's thunder - at the 2006 MTV awards in Denmark he stormed the stage to declare his video 'Touch The Sky' should have won an award instead of Justice Vs Simian's 'We Are Your Friends' because former 'Baywatch' babe "Pamela Anderson was in it". And he infamously invaded the stage at the 2009 VMAs when Taylor Swift won Best Female Video, telling viewers Beyonce should have won the accolade instead.

To say he's a sore loser is an understatement - at the VMAs held in Las Vegas in 2007, Kanye was caught on camera, outraged that he failed to scoop any of the five awards he was up for.

He fumed: "I lost to the f***ing Black Eyed Peas last year ... I'm never f*cking coming back to MTV."

But he did return and on Sunday (28.08.16) he's reportedly sitting front row at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Many of his outbursts are nothing but hot air but when he's due to perform then it's an open invitation to be outrageous. On Thursday (25.08.16) it was revealed producers have given Kanye "free reign" for his four-minute performance slot. And with Britney also performing, there's bound to be some rivalry.

Back in 2011 he posted to Twitter: "Yo Britney, I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z's single is one of the best songs of all time! LOL", after Britney topped the download charts.

Sources have revealed Kanye has been told he can rap, sing, dance or stay silent ... but knowing Kanye's track record it will be "something big".
