Lady Gaga staged a protest outside Trump Towers on Wednesday morning (09.11.16) after finding out Donald Trump would become President of the United States.

The 'Pokerface' hitmaker was devastated to find out the businessman had won the presidential election over Democratic party candidate Hillary Clinton.

Gaga was spotted standing on the side of a sanitation truck with a 'Love Trumps Hate' sign and she later took to Twitter to share a picture from the protest.

Captioning the black and white image, she wrote: "I want to live in a #CountryOfKindness where #LoveTrumpsHate (sic)"

The 30-year-old had been vocal on social media about her support for Clinton and had been urging her followers to exercise their right to vote.
