Timbaland moves into PSPR
Super producer Timbaland, may be caught up in an on going feud with fellow producer Scott Storch, but nothing is holding him back wen it comes to taking his career further. Having joined With Rockstar, the games giant responsible for making games such as Grand Theft Auto, he is now working on a product called Beaterator. The game is a 'music mixer with beatmaking features for a collection of original music and rhythm games and challenge modes.'
Company founder Sam Houser had this to say about aligning with Timbaland, who has produced platinum selling albums for Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliot and Nelly Furtado, "Having Timbaland involved in the game is a real honor. Music has always been a hugely important part of everything we do here,"
Beaterator is expected to launch in the Summer of this year.
Ice Cube - Good in the Hood
Famed 'gangsta' rapper Ice Cube is currently working on a TV show called Good in the Hood. The show which is to air on A&E will feature a reformed drug dealer, gang member and such like take on the role of rehabilitating another similar individual.

Melle Mel speaks out on 50 Cent
After being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as the first Hip-Hop act, Melle Mel spoke out at a press conference afterwards about how he and Grandmaster flash have opened doors for artists who may be honored as a reflection of their sales and not for their creativity and artistry, like they themselves.
Speaking on Queens rapper 50 Cent Melle Mel had this to say "All he did was just make records and the records made money. He wasn't as influential as Grandmaster Flash And The Furious Five, or RUN D.M.C. or Kurtis Blow or Public Enemy. These are the influential groups in hip-hop. That's the biggest movement and the bigger story about what hip-hop is."
50 Cent to drop album June 19th
The third album from famed rapper Curtis Jackson AKA 50 Cent is to be released on June 19th. The album's title is yet to be disclosed but production on the album is to fall on the shoulders of names such as Timbaland and JR Rotem.
