She admitted: "I don't remember it happening. It was such a blur. I had no idea he was going to do this, but I'm glad he did."

Aaron's father Bob Carter revealed he had been left completely in the dark about the pending nuptials.

He said: "I heard he got married, then I heard he got engaged. I don't have a clue.

"The couple just started dating. Even my daughters don't know what's going on."

Kari Ann was crowned Miss Teen USA in 2003, but she was later stripped of her title after posing nude for Playboy.
