Adele "ruins" collaborations.

The 'Chasing Pavements' singer won't be doing any duets on her next album because she thinks she spoils them.

However, Adele does enjoy joining other musicians for live performances.

She said: "I'm not doing any collaborations, I think I ruin collaborations.

I'm writing it slowly but surely. You're only as good as your next record so if you rush it you end up losing that little niche you've created for yourself, and you'll end up with a s** t record.

"I love to sing with people live, rather than on record."

Adele admits she would bend the rules if 'Bodies' singer Robbie Williams asked her to sing with him.

She added: "If I could do one with anyone - Robbie? Any day, I love a bit of Robbie."

Adele, 21, also said she's taking her time with the follow-up to her debut album '19' - released in January last year - to ensure it meets the benchmark she has previously set.

She said: "I'm writing it slowly but surely. You're only as good as your next record so if you rush it you end up losing that little niche you've created for yourself, and you'll end up with a s** t record."
