Alec Baldwin and lawyer lover break up

Alec Baldwin has split from girlfriend Nicole Seidel.Sources are blaming the stress of the actor's custody battle with ex-wife Kim Basinger for the couple calling time on their four-and-a-half-year relationship.A source told America's New York Post newspaper: "The stress of the custody hearings took its toll."Despite going their separate ways, 'The Aviator' star is said to still be close to Seidel.The source added: "They're still friends, Alec thinks Nicole's great."Baldwin and Basinger have been locked in a long-running custody battle over their 10-year-old daughter Ireland.The 47-year-old actor has previously admitted the experience has put him off marriage for life.

He said: "It's hard with my lifestyle to settle down. If I'd been married successfully, maybe, I'd have a different view, but I wouldn't consider getting married again.

"One thing my divorce did do was make me a better person

"Hell will be filled with divorce lawyers and I know that if I'm bad I will dread being down there with them."
