Bijou Phillips Defends Baldwin.ALEC BALDWIN is receiving family support after he made headlines last week (ends20Apr07) by ranting at his 11-year-old daughter on a leaked answer machine message.The actor, whose custody rights have since been suspended, has apologised for his remarks, but that hasn't stopped US family groups turning him into public enemy number one. Not everyone is out to bash Baldwin, however - socialite BIJOU PHILLIPS, whose sister Chynna is married to the actor's brother Billy, insists the Pearl Harbor star is "a really great guy".Phillips says, "I'm proud to have him in my family. I have 100 per cent faith in him as a father."There's two sides to every story and I know it seems like a pretty intense message and I know he's apologised about it. But, I know Alec's a really great guy and he's a really good father."During his three-minute rant, which came after his daughter Ireland missed a phone chat with her father, Baldwin described her as "a rude, thoughtless little pig".
