Alexa Chung says Tesco is a fashion hotspot.

The 'Frock Me!' presenter says aspiring fashionistas should head to the Bethnal Green branch of the British supermarket to get ahead of the trends.

She said: "If you ever want to know what the next big trends are before they hit the catwalks, this place is crawling with hip young things wearing impossible items of clothing."

However, looking good isn't always an advantage for trend-setting Alexa, 25.

The former model is sick of receiving lewd comments from "men who are oversexed, overweight, over-optimistic and over-the-hill" in the street.

Chung added: "In their day people pretended they didn't have sex before they got married, nowadays strangers describe what they want to do to you in the middle of the street. This is not OK."
