Alexandra Burke walked out of a party because people were taking drugs.

The 'Bad Boys' singer doesn't take drugs and won't surround herself with people who abuse their bodies with substances, so she ditched the bash after realising some of the revellers were getting high.

She said: "I've been so naive to it until now. It's only been in the last month, when I've been promoting, that I'm like, 'Are these people on drugs?' I went to a London Fashion Week party and, oh my God, It was horrible.

For me, drugs are negative

"I stayed 10 minutes and then I left. For me, drugs are negative and I'm very happy that I'm surrounded by supportive people who don't put me around that. I'm my own person and I'm very much against it."

Alexandra, 21, has also revealed she is happy to be single at the moment, but is missing one particular benefit of being in a relationship.

She added in interview with the January issue of Company magazine: "I'm in no rush, because right now I'm all work, work, work.

"But if love came to me, I'm not one to say no. I haven't dated anyone for a year, and a woman has needs!"
