Meanwhile, three-year-old Pax's mother Pham Thu Dung, 29, has spoken of her heartache at losing her son.

Dung said: "He is better off with a movie star because I am not a good mother. I wasn't able to take care of my baby, I left him."

Pax was abandoned in hospital when he was two days old because Dung couldn't afford to pay his £15 medical bill.

She added: "My dream is that one day he'll visit me and call me mother. But it's only a dream. I know it is impossible."
