Anthony Kiedis' family plans

Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis wants to settle down.The 43-year-old singer has confessed he used to be nervous about starting a family because he didn't want to end up like his father, John Kiedis - an actor and former drug dealer to the stars, famed for his drug use and partying.Kiedis, who is reportedly dating 19-year-old model Jessica Stam, insists he has put his concerns behind him and is ready to commit to the right woman.He revealed: "Seeing women as sex objects or imagining there is always a better one around the corner is... crippling. I don't want to be like my dad."I've got as far as two or three-year relationships but I want more. I'm not satisfied."He added: "Recently I've understood why I'm stuck in that cycle. It's about my own character defects."Kiedis' thoughts have turned to fatherhood after seeing how happy bandmate Flea is with his four-month-old daughter, Sunny Bebop

He told Britain's Q magazine: "The thought of having children made me feel less safe, less secure. But seeing Flea with his new child, I can see the opposite."
