According to legal documents filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, the couple - who split in February after three and a half years of marriage - formally ended their union on November 22.

However, TMZ reports details of the pair's divorce settlement are being kept under wraps, and it is unclear who will be given primary physical custody of the couple's three-year-old son Bronx.

Ashlee and Pete are also believed to have worked out a "secret deal" regarding the division of their other assets and multi-million dollar empire.

The former Fall Out Boy rocker previously admitted he and his estranged wife were working together to make sure they make home life as "easy as possible" for Bronx.

He said: "Everything at home is good. We try to make his life as easy to navigate as possible and he's growing up so it's important for everyone who loves him to be involved with his life."
