Bar Refaeli is fighting to save the world's coastlines.
The Israeli-born model - who is dating Leonardo DiCaprio - is campaigning to raise global awareness about the importance of keeping beaches free from pollution.
The 23-year-old has teamed up with beer company Corona to launch the Corona Save the Beach Project which aims to recover one beach every year.
By recycling, reusing biodegradable bags and making sure we don't leave litter on our beaches, we can all make a vital difference
Bar said: "Through this campaign I'd like people to understand that it's the little actions that will eventually change the world. By recycling, reusing biodegradable bags and making sure we don't leave litter on our beaches, we can all make a vital difference."
Once a beach has been recovered for the project, it will receive a blue flag as a seal of quality from the Foundation for Environmental Education, with the aim that one day all beaches will have blue flags.
Bar explains why she got involved with the cause: "When I was a young girl I would collect the rubbish that had been discarded on the sand and throw it in the bin. A few years ago, I started taking home all the litter I found, to recycle.
"If everyone makes an effort to do their bit, no matter how small, collectively a vast change can be brought about."
The public are encouraged to upload photographs of a local beach that needs attention to www.corona.com, where visitors can vote for which one they want to save.
