Billy Zane's love stumble

Billy Zane was so mesmerised by Kelly Brook's smile when they first met he fell down a flight of stairs.The 'Titanic' actor - who is now engaged to the British actress - failed to keep his cool when he arranged a meeting with Kelly in Los Angeles to discuss the movie 'Three'.Kelly - who starred with Billy in the film - revealed in her autobiography 'Life Style': "He arranged a meeting at the Chateau Marmont in Beverly Hills on 24 February 2004, which turned out to be Billy's 38th birthday. "Billy arrived 15 minutes late - which I now know is impressive, given his dreadful timekeeping."He spotted me, smiled then he fell over as he walked down the stairs towards me. It was an interesting start."Although she was worried she had too little acting experience to land the role, Kelly was absolutely thrilled when she got the part.She added: "We ordered tea, and spoke at length about the script for 'Three', which was a psychological thriller. When we finally parted that afternoon. I had a feeling I wasn't quite ready for this role, but I auditioned for it anyway and a week later the part was mine."

The 27-year-old brunette fell for Billy while filming 'Three' in the Bahamas.

At the time Kelly was dating British actor Jason Statham, and she has previously admitted she tried everything in her power to fight her and Billy's "sexual chemistry".
