Brandon Flowers would feel "less than naked" if he wore a T-shirt on stage.

The Killers frontman insists a flamboyant stage outfit is a vital part of his live performance and both he and the band's fans would be disappointed if there was no glamour.

He said: "I would feel less than naked wearing a T-shirt on stage. Would Elvis have been the same if he dressed like the guy who mowed the lawn?

"Coming from very ordinary backgrounds, the glamour was an exciting thing when we started out. It still is. Putting on a suit, a little make-up - it feels like the right thing to do."

Brandon recently became a father for the second time.

The 'Human' singer and his wife Tana welcomed their second son Gunner into the world in August. They already have two-year-old Ammon together.
