Brandy Eliminated From Dancing With The Stars

Actress-and singer Brandy has become the ninth contestant to be eliminated from 'Dancing with the Stars' after Bristol Palin survived thanks to the public vote.

Brandy has become the ninth contestant to be eliminated from 'Dancing with the Stars'.

The actress-and singer and her professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were eliminated last night (16.11.10) following a public vote, despite receiving a total score of 57 out of a possible 60 from the judges for their performances on Monday's (15.11.10) episode.

Following the announcement, a disappointed Brandy burst into tears before saying: "I'm numb. It's going to hit me tomorrow.

"I gave it everything I have and I don't have any regrets. I'm so proud of me and I say that humbly.

"I'm very proud of Maks as well. He's been very calm tonight!"

Maksim added: "People vote and their voices count, and I love the fact that the show represents that."

Bristol Palin, who has been at the bottom of the scoring almost every week with her partner Mark Ballas again survived elimination thanks to the public vote and will now take her place in the final next Monday (22.11.10) alongside actress Jennifer Grey and her dance partner Derek Hough and Kyle Massey and professional ballroom dancer Lacey Schwimmer.

Last night's episode included performances by Annie Lennox and Enrique Iglesias.
