Queen guitarist Brian May is so anti-drugs he doesn't even like taking aspirin. The legendary rocker insists his hard-partying reputation is completely undeserved and he has never experimented with illegal substances. He said: "Well, I certainly enjoyed myself, but when I lived in college I made the decision that I wasn't going to take any drugs, ever, because I wanted to know that everything that happened to me was real."I am very emotional. The music was blowing my mind and I didn't feel I needed anything else. "To this day I have never taken a single drug. I don't even like to take aspirin."May, 60, also refused to discuss reports of Queen hosting a party with transsexual strippers and dwarves carrying trays of cocaine. He said: "A lot of strange stuff did go on that night. Of course it's been exaggerated, but I'm not going to spoil the fun."In fact I hardly spent any time there that night. I'm an incurable romantic and I'd fallen in love in New Orleans a few years earlier.
"Because the girl didn't show up to the party I went off in a car to look for her. I didn't succeed. That was a very un-rock'n'roll thing to do!"
