Brian McFadden and his girlfriend Vogue Williams have got engaged and plan to marry this year.

The 'Australia's Got Talent' judge popped the question to his girlfriend Vogue Williams in November while he was on tour with Stevie Nicks and she said "yes".

DJ Vogue confirmed the happy news on her twitter page today (13.01.12), writing: "I'm engaged! Delighted!"

Over-excited Brian invited all his followers on the micro-blogging site to his nuptials, tweeting: "I'll have to invite all my followers to the wedding. We'll have to get married in central park Vogue Williams."

The couple first met last April in their native Ireland when Brian was visiting his family and started dating shortly after the 31-year-old singer ended his seven year engagement to Delta Goodrem.

In an interview with Australia's OK! magazine, Brian - who has two daughters with his ex-wife Kerry Katona - revealed it was love at first sight when he met Vogue.

He said: "It's early (to be engaged) when you think about how long we've been together, but not when you consider the amount of time we've spent together ... we've literally spent every second of every day together for eight months now."

Brian insists he won't be having another long engagement and he plans to tie the knot with the brunette beauty this year.

He said: "Vogue and I are setting a date and we're actually getting married."
