Britney Spears death threats from stalker

Britney Spears is reportedly living in fear after receiving death threats from a stalker. The obsessed fan, who claims to have her name tattooed all over his body, has sent a string of threatening letters to the pop princess. In some of the correspondence sent to her record company Jive Records, he threatens to stab the 22-year-old singer. A source said: "This has left Britney terrified. She's beside herself with worry." The sexy singer's fiancé, Kevin Federline, who has also received death threats from the madman, is said to be so scared he has hired a bodyguard. The threats come as the smitten couple, who are set to marry in November, were settling down to enjoy a well-earned break together in Hawaii, after a string of problems in recent months. Britney, who has slammed rumours she is pregnant, had badly injured her knee during a dance routine, forcing her to cancel concerts, and her world tour was heavily criticised by critics.

This is not the first time the blonde beauty has been hassled by a stalker - last year Japanese business woman Masahiko Shizawaman was issued with a restraining order after a judge decided she was "abnormally obsessed" with the star.
