The pair then drove to the offices of her lawyer Adam Streisand, who earlier this week unsuccessfully challenged the decision to name Britney's father Jamie as co-conservator of her estate and all her legal decisions.

In early January, Britney was briefly hospitalised after refusing to surrender custody of her two sons in a police stand-off.

Sole custody of the children was subsequently awarded to her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
