Britney Spears wedding 'broadcast live'

Britney Spears is reportedly planning to broadcast her wedding live on TV.

The sexy star, who is due to marry fiancé Kevin Federline in November, is allegedly in talks with MTV bosses to televise the winter nuptials and follow the couple during their first weeks as husband and wife in a second series of hit show 'Newlyweds'.

Sources claim the 'Toxic' singer is desperate to match the success of pop rival Jessica Simpson, who boosted her profile after starring in the reality TV show with new husband Nick Lachey.

Britney reportedly wants to use the series to improve her image after a turbulent year, in which she wed her childhood sweetheart in a Las Vegas ceremony for 55 hours and was spotted drinking and smoking in the street.

Yesterday (18.08.04), the pop babe slammed rumours she had cancelled her wedding to father-of-two Kevin.

Britney was stunned by reports she had scrapped plans to walk down the aisle after an alleged bust-up with Kevin on the set of the advert for her new perfume, 'Curious', earlier this week.

A spokeswoman insisted the nuptials were still going ahead, with sources claiming Britney is so smitten with her dancer fiancé she even wants him to feature in her new video.

Britney will reportedly 'marry' a Kevin look-a-like in the video for her next single, a cover version of Bobby Brown's 1988 hit 'My Prerogative'.
