Cameron Diaz splashed out thousands of pounds on a ring for boyfriend Justin Timberlake at Christmas.

The screen beauty reportedly bought the heartthrob singer a

£4,000 ring from top Beverly Hills store Neiman Marcus to celebrate the festive season.

But the 32-year-old actress didn't stop at gifts for Justin, and treated herself to a

£355 pair of shoes and a pair of boots for £200.

Last year, Cameron revealed Justin showers her with gifts everyday - to make her feel special.

The sexy star admitted she needs proof her man really loves her and enjoys receiving regular romantic gestures, including presents and phone calls.

She said: "It's important that someone makes you feel they're thinking of you or that you make them feel a certain way.

"And it's great if they give you something, like a memento, that says, 'You're special to me', or if they ring you with a romantic message."

She added: "It only takes a little thought, to pick up the phone and say, 'You know what? You make me feel good'. You can't beat that."
