Camille Donatacci wants to be friends with Kelsey

Kelsey Grammer has no verbal contact with his estranged wife Camille Donatacci, but she is hopeful they can one day be friends for the sake of their two children.

Camille Donatacci - who filed for divorce from the 'Frasier' actor last July after 14 years of marriage - currently has no verbal contact with the 55-year-old star and thinks they need to get along better for the sake of their children, Mason, nine, and six-year-old Jude.

She said: "We don't speak at all. Everything I find out is through the press with him. Or he writes me an email or text.

"I think it's really important for us to speak if we're going to raise children together. So right now, my focus now is that we hopefully become friends and we move on from this and we can become good parents to our two young children."

Weeks after splitting from 42-year-old Camille, Kelsey announced his current partner flight attendant Kayte Walsh was pregnant, though she tragically later miscarried.

The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star also opened up about how she had learned Kelsey - who got engaged to Kayte in October - was cheating on her, and how he avoided a confrontation with her about the allegations.

She recalled to TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: "A mutual friend called me and said, 'I don't like what he's doing to you and I don't like the timing because you're still in the middle of shooting a reality show.' And then I called him that night and texted him. No answer from him.

"I waited for three hours and then he called me and said, 'I don't want to be married anymore.' "
