Casey Affleck's dish satisfaction

Casey Affleck thinks washing dishes is just as fulfilling as acting. The 'Gone Baby Gone' actor hates having to talk endlessly about his career because he believes his current profession is no more important than any other job he's had.He said: "I've sawed boards and poured concrete and washed dishes and waited tables and sold sausages that hadn't been refrigerated in days in buns that had been nibbled and s**t on by rats and I've been an extra on movies and I've been a lead on movies. None of them is more fulfilling than the other. It's just different - fulfilling in different ways and demeaning in different ways." Despite the acclaim he has received for his roles in 'Gone Baby Gone' and 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford', Casey isn't currently attached to any new movie projects. He added to Esquire magazine: "I haven't found anything that I like. Being in these two movies the past year has given me more opportunities. I've read more scripts and met more people, but it's also made me more careful. This probably won't last and I don't want to blow my one chance."'Gone Baby Gone', directed by Casey's brother Ben, is in cinemas now.
