Wrestler Chris Jericho has become the latest celebrity to be voted off 'Dancing with the Stars' after failing to impress with his tango routine.

Chris Jericho has become the latest celebrity to be voted off 'Dancing with the Stars'.

The WWE wrestler and his professional partner Cheryl Burke found themselves in the bottom two alongside Ralph Macchio after failing to impress both the judges and audience with their tango and he accepted it was time for him to go.

Speaking about the routine - which scored 22 out of 30 from the three judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba - he said: "Let's be honest, it wasn't my best dance, and at this point in the competition, you have to be your best every week or this is what happens. 

"I'm proud of all the dances we did and I'm proud to show that a WWE guy and a rock 'n' roll singer can go this far and do this."

He also joked it was fortunate he went because he had been invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding in London on Friday (29.04.11).

He quipped: "It's actually good timing that I got eliminated because I have to fly over to England for the royal wedding."

He also praised Cheryl, saying: "The only reason I got this far is because of Cheryl ... She's a great friend, a friend for life."

Next week the remaining contestants - Kirstie Alley, Chelsea Kane, Kendra Wilkinson, Ralph and Romeo - must perform two routines each.
