Chris Klein loves filming kissing scenes in his films.
The 'American Pie' hunk, who shares a smooch with Mandy Moore in this summer's comedy 'American Dreamz', says he prefers smooching his on-screen partners to real-life embraces.
He said: "If real-life kissing could be like screen kissing, everyone would be happier.'
"On the set the lighting is right and you look beautiful. You've got a mint to make sure your breath doesn't smell. And you get these long kisses which is cool.'
Meanwhile, Klein, who once dated Tom Cruise's fiancee Katie Holmes, admitted he always knew he and the 'Dawson's Creek' beauty were never meant to be.
He said: "Well people move on you know? You go into a relationship knowing it won't necessarily be forever. And I'm certainly not crying myself to sleep at night, sucking my thumb.'
