American Pie facing charges for drink-driving

'American Pie' star Chris Klein is facing charges for drink-driving.The handsome actor was pulled over by police, in San Diego, on February 5 and formally charged last month with two counts of driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.20 and above - the legal limit in San Diego is .08.Klein - full name Frederick Christopher Klein - is now scheduled to appear in court for his arraignment on April 28 and if found guilty could face a prison sentence or a large fine. Embarrassingly for the actor, a mug shot of him was published on The Smoking Gun website - notorious for shaming disgraced celebrities - looking dishevelled and nervous.Klein, who shot to fame in the 1999 film 'Election', is not the only young star to be arrested for drink-driving recently.Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter was formerly charged with driving under the influence last month after being pulled over by police, in Los Angeles.
