Claire Danes paid tribute to her "baby daddy" Hugh Dancy as she won the Best Actress prize at the Emmy Awards last night (23.09.12).
The 33-year-old star - who is expecting her first baby with the handsome actor - took home the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in 'Homeland' and she took the opportunity to thank her husband of three years.
When she accepted the coveted prize, Claire - who beat favourite Elisabeth Moss to the prize - said: "My husband, my love, my life, my baby daddy. I couldn't do anything without you. I love you so much and I am so grateful ... This means nothing without you."
Claire - who looked stunning in a yellow Lanvin dress - also paid tribute to her 'Homeland' co-star Damian Lewis, who picked up the prize for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, saying: "(He) did the magnificent trick of taking a villain and making them someone so human."
After accepting his statuette, the British actor tried his best to remain modest.
He said: "I'm one of those pesky Brits, I apologise. I don't really believe in judging art, but I thought I'd show up just in case."
'Homeland' also won the coveted Best Drama Award and Best Drama Writing at the prestigious ceremony at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre.
