Cliff Richard's botox confession

British singer Cliff Richard has admitted to having botox injections. He said: "It's true. I've had botox.I want to carry on looking as good as I can and why not?

Cliff - whose hits include 'Living Doll', 'Congratulations' and 'Devil Woman' - insists he didn't have the injections because of pressure from his legions of adoring fans to stay looking young.

Instead, the handsome singer claims he decided to have botox - which involves injecting the chemical into the patient's face to remove wrinkles and signs of skin ageing - to make himself happier with how he looks. He is quoted by Britain's Sunday People newspaper as saying: "I don't do it because I imagine the audience wants me to look a certain way.I think most people do these things for themselves".

Other celebrities who have confessed to having the treatment include Joan Rivers and Frank Sinatra's daughter Nancy Sinatra who previously admitted the procedure was her "best friend" in her fight against ageing.
