Corey Haim’s sister had a baby the day before his funeral.

Carol Haim and her fiancé Mark – whose surname has not been reported – welcomed their first child into the world, a daughter they named Molly Rose, on Monday (15.03.10), less than 24 hours before the ‘Lost Boys’ star was laid to rest in his native Toronto, Canada.

Corey – whose death last week is rumoured to have been due to a prescription drugs overdose – was close to his family and was even living with his mother Judy to help care for her during her battle with cancer.

I am a cancer victim and Corey was helping me at home. He was a good boy. I'm devastated by his death.

Judy - who insists her son’s cause of death was pulmonary congestion - said: "I am a cancer victim and Corey was helping me at home. He was a good boy. I'm devastated by his death."

Around 200 friends and family were in attendance at his funeral yesterday (16.03.10).

The actor's second cousin, Maytal Kotler, revealed that the service was "very sad but with a lot of laughter."
