Daniel Craig will never play a superhero.

The 'Quantum of Solace' actor was rumoured to be playing the title character in a movie adaptation of comic book 'Thor', but insists he has no plans to accept the role.

It doesn't interest me at all

Asked whether there was any truth to the report, Daniel replied: "No. It doesn't interest me at all."

The 40-year-old star - who can soon be seen playing one of three Jewish brothers who escapes Nazi-occupied Poland in new drama 'Defiance' - added he is planning to take some time out from making movies.

He revealed: "Taking a holiday. All I want to do is take a holiday at the moment."

Daniel recently revealed he likes being an actor because he can don different costumes and take on new personas.

He said: "You get into acting for the chase. It's dressing up and showing off. Let's be honest about it, at its basic level."
