David Beckham has rubbished rumours he wants to be the next Tom Cruise.The Real Madrid soccer star insists that, contrary to reports, he has no plans to follow in the footsteps of his 'Mission: Impossible' star friend when he finally hangs up his boots.He said: "No way! I never wanted to be an actor. I don't want to act. It has never appealed to me." David, 31, revealed his only post-career ambition is to spend time with his wife Victoria and their children, Brooklyn, seven, Romeo four and one-year-old Cruz, and to do more charitable work.He added: "When I finish my career what I want to do most is spend more time with my sons and Victoria and do some work for good causes."I want to create more sports schools for children."The former England captain made his movie debut with a cameo appearance as himself in the soccer drama 'Goal!'.
