The play, entitled MacBecks, loosely borrows from Shakespeare's tragedy MacBeth and presents the former Spice Girl as an overly ambitious and ruthless wife.

The comedy's other characters include David Beckham's former Manchester United soccer manager, Alex Ferguson, and Rebecca Loos - the woman who claimed to have an affair with Beckham in 2004. MacBecks has opened in Dublin, Ireland but producers hope to transfer the production to London's West End later this year (08).
