Demi Moore Topping PETA List

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are topping a list of worst-dressed celebrities.

The couple have been slammed by animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for wearing fur and are currently at numbers one and two respectively in the voting for the organisation's annual poll.

A PETA spokesperson said: "She may be a cougar, but that's not helping fur-loving Demi Moore in the eyes of animal lovers."

Other stars also in the running for worst dressed celebrity include '4 Minutes' singer Madonna, Jessica Simpson, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kanye West, Lindsay Lohan, the Olsen Twins, Mary J

The organisation also criticises Ashton for wearing a coyote coat at the Sundance Film Festival.

Other stars also in the running for worst dressed celebrity include '4 Minutes' singer Madonna, Jessica Simpson, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kanye West, Lindsay Lohan, the Olsen Twins, Mary J. Blige, and Kate Moss.

Slamming the contenders in the latest short list, PETA said: "This year, you will find most of the usual cold-hearted, tacky offenders, because any celebs who really matter just don't wear dead animal skins."

People are invited to vote for their 'worst offender' on Peta.org until March 2.

Last year, soul legend Aretha Franklin made the top spot on the list, followed by Lindsay, Kate and Marilyn Manson.
