Dennis Hopper claims he is no match for notorious ladies man Jack Nicholson.
The 73-year-old actor has revealed that in their youth Nicholson, 71, was more successful with women and would often steal girls from the 'Rebel Without a Cause' star.
Hopper said: "I would pull one, and then he'd pull them over to him!"
I would pull one, and then he'd pull them over to him!
The pair have been close since meeting on the set of 1969 movie 'East Rider' and Hopper - who has been married five times - insists Nicholson is one of his best friends.
He said: "He's so great. He's a proper friend, if you call him then he calls back immediately."
Hopper also gained another important thing from 'Rebel Without a Cause' - acting lessons from his co-star the late James Dean.
He added: "As an actor, he totally changed the way I worked. I thought I was the best young actor in America, if not the world, when I met him. Then I realised I was nowhere near as good as him."
"He taught me some basic stuff. Like, 'If you're going to drink something in a film, drink it. If you're going to smoke something, smoke it. Just do it as you would off set.' That was such good advice."
