Diane Keaton's Real Estate Nightmare
DIANE KEATON 'AFRAID' TO BUY HER DAUGHTER A RANCHSOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE star DIANE KEATON is reluctant to buy her adopted
daughter DEXTER a ranch - because she's "freaked out" by the state of the real
estate market. The 59-year-old actress admits that while she's famed for investing in a
grand collection of high-profile properties over the years, she's unsure about
granting her 10-year-old's wish.
She says of Dexter, "She loves horses. What I would like to do, of course, is
get her a horse but I don't have a ranch... I'm afraid to do it."I'm just cautious because now, as I get older, I'm approaching a very
special birthday. I'm going to be 60, and as I approach this age I'm becoming
much more like my father, who is profoundly conservative, and I worry about the
money."I'm worried and I'm a little bit freaked out by the market, because it's
taking a drop. Are you guys all watching CNN, keeping up with the world? It's
starting to get a little soft out there, so I don't know what I'm going to do."
