Dido excited about pregnancy

Dido has revealed she is so excited about her pregnancy that she can't wait until her baby is due in the summer to find out the sex.

Dido can't wait to find out the sex of her baby.

The 39-year-old singer is expecting her first child with husband Rohan this summer but is so excited about their impending arrival that she wants to find out if it will be a boy or a girl as soon as possible.

She said: "I'm too curious. It's enough of a surprise on the day."

Although the singer-songwriter is impatient to discover the sex of her baby, Dido revealed she is finding pregnancy quite relaxing.

She said: "There's a real calmness about it which I think is really nice. Your decisions are sort of made for you. You just have this priority that is unchangeable and I think that's a great calmness that comes from that."

Along with changes in her personal life, Dido is also busy in her professional life at the moment too. Her song 'If I Rise' from the film '127 Hours' was nominated for an Academy Award last month, and her new album is almost completed.

She said: "I'm nearly done. Music will just start coming out as this year goes on."
