Dido 'romancing Sol Campbell'

Dido is reportedly romancing England soccer star Sol Campbell.The sexy singer is rumoured to have been on a string of dates with the hunky footballer, who plays for her favourite team, Arsenal.Dido's neighbours spotted Sol, who recently split from interior designer Kelly Hoppen, visit her London in his Range Rover on Friday night (10.09.04), before whisking the singer off for a romantic dinner date. One neighbour revealed to Britain's The People newspaper: "He pulled up at 8.20pm and had flowers. You could hear him say, 'Hey darling.'" The pair have now enjoyed several dates and friends claim the romance is hotting up.One said: "They are getting closer and closer and are seeing each other more frequently. This could be the start of something really big."Earlier this year, Dido enjoyed a romantic dinner date with British football star Alan Smith. The stunning singer hooked up with the Leeds United player after admitting to friends she had a crush on the bleach-haired sportsman.A friend revealed to Britain's News of the World newspaper at the time: "The relationship is just a bit of fun for both of them. Alan split from his girlfriend recently so is also young, free and single."

In March, it was claimed Dido had rekindled her romance with on-off boyfriend Ferdie Unger-Hamilton after they were seen holding hands at a football match. Dido first began dating Ferdie in June 2002 after she ended her seven-year relationship with fiancé Bob Page.

Dido and Ferdie later broke up in January last year but got back together in April.

The singer also enjoyed a brief relationship with Canadian model Rodney Webber, with whom she enjoyed a romantic Christmas break in Paris.
