Elizabeth Taylor has denied claims she has Alzheimer's disease. The 74-year-old screen idol says reports she is "gravely ill" are completely false, but has admitted she has to use a wheelchair because of chronic back pain.During a TV interview, she asked CNN talk show host Larry King: "Do I look like I'm dying? Do I look like or sound like I have Alzheimer's?"I think they're trying to sell magazines. Some audiences out there... they like scandal."She angrily added: "They like filth. And if they want to hear that I'm dead, sorry folks. I'm not. And I don't plan on it."The legend - who became a household name after starring in the 1944 movie 'National Velvet' - also told King how she was incensed by child molestation claims laid against her close friend Michael Jackson. She said: "I've never been so angry in my life.

"I've been there, when his nephews were there, and we all were in the bed watching television.

"There was nothing abnormal about it. There was no touchy, feely thing going on. We laughed like children and we watched a lot of Walt Disney. There was nothing odd about it."

Taylor - whose last big screen appearance was in the 1994 movie, 'The Flintstones' - now spends her time designing jewellery and campaigning for Aids charities.
