Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are set to marry in October.The US talk show host and her 'Ally McBeal' girlfriend are reportedly planning to tie the knot at California's Riviera Resort and Spa in Palm Springs when the renovations are finished later this year.A source told the New York Post newspaper: "They didn't sign the contract yet, but they're working out final details and security. The hotel is spending $70 million on renovations that will be done in October."Ellen and Portia said they wanted to have the ceremony in the tropical gardens by the pool and the reception in the grand ballroom. They will also close a significant portion of the hotel, so it looks like it will be a big occasion!"The 50-year-old host - who has been dating Portia since 2004 - recently gave Portia a $60,000 three-carat pink diamond ring to celebrate the forthcoming nuptials.Portia has reportedly been showing off the impressive piece of jewellery to her friends and family. The 35-year-old actress is also said to be planning to take the name DeGeneres when the couple tie the knot.
