Ellen DeGeneres' abuse nightmare

US comedienne Ellen DeGeneres has revealed she was sexually abused by her stepfather as a teenagerEllen says she was around 16 when the terrifying ordeal began - which started with her abuser fondling her under the guise of a breast examination, before developing into more serious abuseShe said: "It started, then a few weeks later he tried to do it again And I kept saying, 'No! No! You can't keep doing this ' But, it escalated into other things" Ellen also claims her late stepfather once tried to break into her bedroom so he could molest again - forcing her to run away in a bid to escapeShe added in an interview with America's Allure magazine: "He tried to break down the door to my bedroom"I had to kick a window out and escape and sleep in a hospital all night"Ellen DeGeneres can be seen in her chat show 'Ellen' weekdays 10.00am and 4.00pm
