Elton John turned the airwaves blue at the BBC yesterday (08.11.04) -by saying "f**king" live on air. The flamboyant singer used a string of expletives during an interview with DJ Chris Moyles on Radio One's breakfast show. Elton said: "The BBC doesn't look like it used to. It's changed. I arrived here and I couldn't find my way. I thought, 'I'm in the wrong f***ing place!'" However, the 57-year-old star - who is known for his colourful language and outbursts - didn't realise he was live on air. He added: "I'm not live, am I? That's typical of me! I can imagine what's going to be in the papers tomorrow." Meanwhile, multi-millionaire Elton doesn't own a cell phone. The extravagant singer confessed: "I know you can get ring tones with my songs on but I'm really not interested in them as I don't own a cell phone.
I don't even have a computer.
"I also don't download music because I don't own an iPod."
