Ryan Gosling introduces Mendes to mother

Ryan Gosling spent New Year's Eve (31.12.11) in New York with his mother Donna and girlfriend Eva Mendes.

Ryan Gosling is so serious about Eva Mendes, he has introduced her to his mother.

The Hollywood heartthrob and the stunning actress - who shot the movie 'The Place Beyond the Pines' together last year- spent Sunday (01.01.12) with Ryan's mother Donna in New York where they were spotted taking in a movie together.

A source said: "They all hung out and went to the movies together. Ryan and Eva seemed very happy."

The couple - who were first spotted holding hands and canoodling during a trip to Disneyland, California in September flew to New York together from Los Angeles on Friday (30.12.11) in order to spend New Year's Eve (31.12.11) together in the city.

A witness at LAX told People.com: "They kept kissing and hugging while they waited to board their flight. Eva looked gorgeous and kept smiling."

Another source who spotted them leaving Manhattan's Bowery Hotel for a party on New Year's Eve said: "While they waited for a cab outside the hotel, they kept kissing. They both looked very happy."

It is believed the romance began on the set of the film 'The Place Beyond the Pines' as they got on so well together and continued to see each other once shooting had finished.

A source said: "Ryan and Eva have spent a lot of time together on set. They have great chemistry and seem to enjoy filming together. They seem to be good friends and always laugh together."
