Evangeline Lilly is happy to go to the toilet in front of her co-stars.

The actress had to overcome her inhibitions when she started filming TV drama 'Lost' - about a group of people stranded on a tropical island - in Hawaii, and claims she loses her dignity "all the time every day".

Evangeline is quoted as saying by the National Ledger website: "I'm the type of person who, when I'm in the jungle working with Matthew Fox, will just crouch beside a bush three feet away and take a pee."

The 29-year-old US actress also revealed she nearly turned down the role of Kate Austin in the programme - currently filming its sixth series - because she thought the script was poor when she first read it.

She added: "I kind of didn't want it. I actually said, 'That seems like a really c**p script'. Because we never saw the entire script, just little pieces.

I'm the type of person who, when I'm in the jungle working with Matthew Fox, will just crouch beside a bush three feet away and take a pee.

"It was a plane crash on a desert island, I thought, 'Oh give me a break - dramatic Gilligan's Island'. Turns out it was f***ing brilliant."

Evangeline also added she is not interested in her hunky co-stars Matthew and Josh Holloway - who are locked in a love triangle with her on the show - in real life.

The brunette beauty - who is dating former 'Lost' co-star Dominic Monaghan - said: "I'm not invested one way or the other. Matt and Josh are like my brothers. I love them, but I could never go there.

"It's like if you had two brothers and had to decide which of them you'd like to do."
