Farrah Fawcett's cancer has returned, it has been claimed. The former 'Charlie's Angels' actress, who was diagnosed with cancer after doctors discovered a tumour in her lower intestine last October, was allegedly left devastated after doctors found a small, malignant polyp during a recent examination.Doctors have planted a "small metallic seed" in the cancerous area following concerns the polyp could increase the risk of the cancer spreading, according to Access Hollywood. A polyp is an abnormal growth of tissue often found in the colon, stomach and small intestine.Farrah, 60, happily announced she was cancer-free in February, saying: "This is an extraordinarily happy day for me and my family. I have been on a journey for the past four months and during this time received a tremendously aggressive treatment which doctors initially warned me would be the most difficult fight of my life. In the face of excruciating pain and uncertainty, I never lost hope and it never occurred to me to stop fighting - not ever."To those who are still struggling toward their own victory, stay determined, 'fight the fight'. I am deeply grateful to my team of physicians, my loving and supportive family and devoted friends who have sustained me as I battled this terrible disease."Farrah's friends and family have praised her for her incredible bravery.
