Florence Welch recorded a song half asleep in bed.
The Florence and the Machine star likes to incorporate unusual techniques when she is creating new material.
She said: "Whatever comes into my imagination at the time goes in. It's fun to see how far you can go with a song.
"One song is about dreaming of dead people waking up so we made a bed on the floor and I had to try and fall asleep and then sing whatever came into my head in a dream-like state. It was quite weird."
It feels like they're the centre of you.
The singer also revealed she named the forthcoming album 'Lungs' because she views making music as a way of keeping in shape.
She explained to NME magazine: "Singing for me is a physical exercise, you have to use your whole body. It's a lot to do with control and the way you use your lungs.
"It feels like they're the centre of you."
